Matt and Jeff Hardy, who are the current TNA World Tag Team Champions, are heading back to the WWE ring this Tuesday night through a match at NXT.
The brothers are set to take on Myles Borne and Tavion Heights of the No Quarter Catch Crew in Cincinatti.
Speaking on his "The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy" podcast, Matt spoke about the feelings of his brother regarding their return to WWE.
"He's very happy to be going back and I feel like he wants to right the wrongs. He wants to leave on a good note, no more erratic behavior," said Matt, according to Sports Illustrated. "He wants to go back and show them who he is."
It can be recalled that Jeff exited the company controversially in 2021 after he walked out in the middle of a match during a live event. It was reported at that time that he had refused to go to rehab, which led to the termination of his contract.

Mixed Response to Hardy's Return
Undoubtedly one of the biggest stars WWE has produced, Jeff Hardy has long been a fan favorite despite his sobriety struggles.
However, reactions to Matt's statements have been mixed. There are fans who are happy that Jeff has seemed more stable, and many have shared their hopes that he continues to be healthy.
"It's been three years now, and from what I've seen he's been handling it very well compared to previous attempts," one comment said on Reddit. "Addiction is an illness, dude is constantly battling his demons. At least this time he looks noticeably healthier."
On the other side, there are fans who are unhappy about Jeff's return and who have expressed that they were just fed up with the cycle the wrestler seems to find himself in.
Many have noted that Jeff already received many second chances but still fails to keep himself in check.
"Hasn't he done that repeatedly? Hope he is clean and sober and healthy but I'm past him wresting," a Redditor said.
"Jeff, I'm glad you're sober for three years now. And I hope you keep it up. I think it might be time to look for jobs in training the next generation or helping with creative," Another Redditor commented. "Your fans know that your body can't hold to the lifestyle anymore. Take care of yourself dude."
"I'm just tired man," said a different comment. "All love to Jeff, but I'm just tired."
