John Cena is currently on his last WWE run, and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T says his lasting legacy will be that he never wasted an opportunity.
Not the Greatest Wrestler, But Among the Greatest of All Time
As Cena gets ready to ride off into the sunset after his last bout, Booker T tells TMZ Sports that the 16-time world champion will always be remembered for making what he had into all-time great performances.
Booker T admits that Cena was not the greatest technically as a wrestler, but his dedication and his people skills made him stand out.
"He took what he had and made the best out of it," Booker T said. "And he took it all the way to the top."
He said that this was not intended as disrespect, but instead as a tribute to Cena's capacity to transcend his limitations.
"I always tell my students, 'There's no wrong way of doing it as long as you do it right.' And that's John Cena," he added.

Fans Will Decide Cena's Final Matches
Cena's farewell might just be around the corner, and rumors are spreading about his last opponents. But Booker T says it's the fans' decision on who they would like to see him face before he retires his legendary jorts for good.
"That's going to be for the fans to decide," Booker said. "Hopefully, he has enough gas left in the tank to actually get it done."
Of course, there's no certainty as to how the final matches of Cena will be played, but fans would like to see him one last time with someone who's as memorable as him.
Speaking of someone as memorable as the 16-time WWE world champ, The Undertaker said via SHAK Wrestling that Cena deserves a WWE retirement tour.
As for the retired pro wrestler, Cena might be the "prototype" that modern-day wrestlers imitate. He believed that people would have an opportunity regarding what he did in the wrestling entertainment scene.

The show aims to provide an inside look at what it takes to succeed in professional wrestling. The series premiered on A&E on Feb.16.
