"Monday Night Raw" started off with a bang on Feb. 10 as Royal Rumble 2025 winner Jey Uso announced that he will be coming for Gunther's World Heavyweight Championship.

As the Royal Rumble winner, Uso is entitled to a world title match at WrestleMania 41 this April.

It also entitles him to an opportunity to choose between Gunther and the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

Uso Picks Gunther

"Monday Night Raw" kicked off with a celebration for Uso, which was then interrupted by attack by Gunther. The Ring General proceeded to beat down Uso.

The two were eventually separated. However, this led to Uso announcing his decision to pick Gunther as his WrestleMania opponent.

"Me and you at WrestleMania," Uso told Gunther as he struggled to get to his feet.

Uso's selection now means that Rhodes will be going up against the winner of the men's Elimination Chamber.

Elimination Chamber is set to take place on March 1 in Toronto, Canada. As of writing, John Cena, Drew McIntyre, and CM Punk have been confirmed to participate in the chamber match.

Social Media Reactions Are Mixed

While Uso's announcement got a lot of cheers from the live crowd, reactions on social media have been mixed. While some have expressed support for the match, many argued that Uso vs. Rhodes would have been a better option.

Some social media users also lamented how predictable the match is, while some said it should not be the main event of either of WrestleMania's two nights.
