WWE Superstar Seth "Freakin" Rollins isn't just one of the top guys in the wrestling world—he's also a huge football nut, especially as a fan of the Chicago Bears. In a recent interview, he said that the 2024 NFL MVP Josh Allen has a shot to be a WWE star someday.

During the conversation, Rollins gave his thoughts about the Bear's new coach Ben Johnson, his preference for Caleb Williams for Rookie of the Year over Jayden Daniels, and, most importantly, which NFL quarterback he believes could excel in WWE.

His top pick? None other than the main man of the Buffalo Bills.

Why Josh Allen Could Dominate in WWE

For Rollins, the answer was clear. When asked which quarterback could make the best transition to pro wrestling, he immediately pointed to Allen.

"Overall? Probably Josh Allen," Rollins said. "You wouldn't expect that, but he's tough. He's not afraid to take a hit. He gets in there. He will lower his helmet."

Rollins praised Allen's fearless playing style and physicality, qualities that would translate well to the squared circle.

"He's one of those quarterbacks that's like, 'You want me to slide? I'm not sliding. You want me to go out of bounds? I'm not going out of bounds. I want the action. I want it all.' And he's a big, meaty boy. He can take it."

However, Rollins jokingly mentioned that Allen would need to develop a more serious persona, saying he might need to let life wear him down a bit before stepping into the ring.

WWE's History of Working with Athletes

The 2024 NFL MVP may not have pro wrestling aspirations, but WWE has a long history of collaborating with football players and other high-profile athletes.

For example, for WrestleMania 40, Philadelphia Eagles superstars Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson popped up to assist the underdog combination of Rey Mysterio and Andrade in defeating Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio, Newsweek recalled.

Of course, this isn't the first time WWE welcomed athletes from different sports. Even the greatest boxing legends Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali left a piece of history in the WWE.

NFL Stars Who Became WWE Superstars

Many wrestling legends started their careers in football. WWE legends such as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Roman Reigns played either college or professional football before entering the ring.

While Josh Allen may not have the same background, his size, athleticism, and fearless mentality could make him a perfect fit for a special WWE appearance. Whether it is a guest spot at WrestleMania or a future in sports entertainment, Rollins believes Allen has what it takes to step inside the ring.
