The Kansas City Chiefs are making moves to finalize their roster for the 2024 NFL season.
One of their decisions has pleased the world-famous pop star Taylor Swift, who expressed excitement after the team re-signed wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr.
Swift made multiple comments on Hardman's girlfriend Chariah Gordon's Instagram Live during the Chiefs' ring ceremony on Thursday, June 13.
"AND WE GET ANOTHER YEAR OF MECOLE [crown emoji]," the Eras Tour headliner stated.
The 14-time Grammy Award winner is currently in a relationship with Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, which has garnered considerable media attention when it became public.
Swift attended several Chiefs games last season, including the Super Bowl 58 against the San Francisco 49ers last February.
Mecole Hardman Jr. re-signs with the Chiefs
Meanwhile, Hardman, who has been part of all three of the Chiefs' championship teams this decade, signed a new one-year deal with the team worth $1.125 million earlier this month.
The 26-year-old has spent nearly his entire career with the Chiefs since being drafted by the team in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft with the 56th overall pick.
However, he signed with the New York Jets just before the 2023 season but was traded back to the Chiefs in the middle of the campaign.
