Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rasheed Rice's offseason has been filled with controversy and lawsuits, although he's now trying to turn things around.
The wideout posted a video on his Instagram account on Tuesday, May 29, showing his generosity.
The 24-year-old distributed pizza and water to the homeless and those in need around Dallas.
"It's your boy double R. We're out here with some water and some pizza in the summertime. Everybody's got to eat, you know what I'm saying, its great weather. Let's do it," the former SMU Mustangs player said.
Rice was involved in a car accident in the Dallas downtown area at the end of March, which was allegedly caused by reckless racing.
The second-round draft pick is facing charges after he left the scene without checking on anyone involved. He is also awaiting punishment from the NFL, which could reportedly be a suspension lasting for at least half a season.
Rashee Rice cleared on second controversy
The Super Bowl champion faced another controversy earlier this month after he allegedly assaulted a photographer at a nightclub on May 6.
However, an update last Tuesday, May 21, revealed that the photographer who filed a police report against Rasheed Rice had signed an affidavit of non-prosecution.
This means that the alleged victim has dropped his case and won't pursue charges, clearing Rice of this debacle.
