Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown was recognized for his sensational performance in the Eastern Conference Finals series against the Indiana Pacers.

The 6-foot-6 wing claimed the Eastern Conference Finals MVP and received the Larry Bird Trophy as the Celtics swept the Pacers by winning Game 4, 105-102, on Monday, May 28, at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Brown gave a hilarious statement when asked about his feelings upon hearing his name called as the recipient of the award.

"I wasn't expecting it at all. I never win s**t. I was just happy that we won," the 27-year-old told the media in the post-game press conference.

Some of Brown's memorable moments in the series include a game-tying three-pointer in the dying seconds of regulation in Game 1, as well as tying his playoff career high by scoring 40 points in Game 2.

Jaylen Brown laments one thing he didn't achieve this season

Despite his recent accomplishment, Brown expressed disappointment in not reaching one of his season goals.

The Atlanta native also confidently stated that he thinks he is one of the best two-way wings in the league.

"I feel like I should've been All-Defensive, and that probably hurt me the most because that's one of the things I set out this season that I wanted to be," the three-time NBA All-Star said.
