The Cincinnati Bengals are upgrading their home turf as they enter their 25th season playing at Paycor Stadium.
On Tuesday, May 21, the team announced that they will be investing as much as $100 million to $120 million in renovations to several aspects of the venue.
The project, which will be completed by 2026, will include updated video and audio systems, renovations to suites and club lounges, concession upgrades, and beautification projects.
"The Bengals are continuing to invest in our future here in Cincinnati. We are lucky to have a great stadium and we are proud to invest in this great asset to help make it a best-in-class facility," Bengals Executive Vice President Katie Blackburn said in a statement.
This move signals that the team will likely commit to remaining in the Ohio city, as their lease at the county-owned stadium will expire in the summer of 2026.
Bengals add more to prior investment in Paycor Stadium
In recent years, the team has already committed $40 million to upgrade investments in the stadium.
These include the IEL Indoor Practice Facility, a revamped locker room, an expanded and renovated training area, new ribbon video boards, enhancements to concessions, and the Bengals Pro Shop.
The Bengals have stated that they have invested approximately $150 million into the 65,000-seater Paycor Stadium over the past few seasons, including the latest announcement.
