Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson has been active this offseason, although not with his team.

The 24-year-old is in contract extension talks with the Vikings for the second consecutive offseason.

Jefferson was spotted at a hotel in Florham Park, New Jersey, where the New York Jets' Atlantic Health Jets Training Center facility is located. The facility is a mere three-minute drive from the hotel, as reported by MLFootball.

Footage obtained by the outlet saw the wide receiver departing from his hotel and entering a chauffeured car on Monday, May 20.

Jefferson is entering the final year of his five-year rookie contract and is scheduled to make $19.7 million in the 2024 season, thanks to the fifth-year option exercised by the Vikings.

According to Spotrac, he earned $13.3 million over the first four years of his contract.

Justin Jefferson misses the Vikings' organized team activites

During the same day, the 2022 NFL Offensive Player of the Year was reported to have not attended the start of the team's organized team activities, according to league insider Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Jefferson also missed all of the Vikings' voluntary workouts in 2023 due to contract extension-related holdouts.

The Vikings and Jefferson have been discussing the terms of the deal for more than a year, and they came incredibly close to reaching an agreement last summer before postponing the talks at the start of the 2023 regular season.
