WWE has made a wise business move regarding one of its major assets, its flagship show, "Monday Night Raw."

Following Raw's new 10-year deal with streaming platform Netflix, set to begin in January 2025, the show found itself without a platform to air from as its current deal with NBCUniversal's USA Network concludes in September 2024.

To address this gap, the wrestling promotion has reached an agreement worth $25 million to extend their partnership until the end of the year.

Raw has aired on USA Network for the second time since 2005, following a previous tenure from 1993 to 1997. The likely final episode will air on December 30, 2024.

WWE had previously inked a monumental 10-year deal with Netflix, valued at $5 billion earlier this year.

This agreement allows the streaming platform to air Raw and secures most of the global rights for WWE content.

Raw will air on the same network as Smackdown for several months

WWE will not completely sever ties with the USA Network in the future.

Their other show, Friday Night Smackdown, currently airing on Fox, is set to transition to USA Network starting in October 2024.

This move follows the signing of a new five-year, $1.4 billion deal between WWE and NBCUniversal, including producing four WWE primetime annual specials on NBC.

This means that both RAW and SmackDown will be broadcast on USA Network for the last three months of 2024, marking the second occasion where both shows will be aired on a single network.
