WWE co-founder and former chairman Vince McMahon is officially severing all ties with the professional wrestling promotion after 55 years.

The 78-year-old businessman registered for sale the last of his shares in TKO Group Holdings, WWE's parent company, on Friday, April 27.

McMahon still retains 8,021,405 TKO shares, valued at over $776 million based on TKO's closing price of $96.76 on Friday.

Although these shares have been registered for sale, it doesn't necessarily mean an immediate sale; instead, the stocks are eligible for sale.

The stocks are McMahon's remaining ties to the company he made world-famous. He resigned as executive chairman from TKO Group Holdings in January 2024 following allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault.

McMahon initially held a 16.4% stake at TKO during the merger between WWE and UFC last September 2023, which formed the holding company. However, his current ownership now stands at just 4.7%.

These sales netted him $670 million last November, $408 million in the first transaction in March, $100 million in the second transaction also in March, and $311 million in April.
