The last thing Dallas Cowboys fans want is for their rivals Philadelphia Eagles to get stronger.
That is what star Micah Parsons feel right now after the first day of the 2024 NFL Draft when the Eagles landed his favorite player in this batch.
The Eagles selected cornerback Quinyon Mitchell from the Toledo Rockets for their 22nd pick and Parsons described his feeling as "disgusted" since the 22-year-old is the one is most excited about in the draft.
He thinks their division rivals got lucky.
"I'm honestly utterly disgusted on how lucky the Eagles are," Parsons said after the selection.
"I do not know how he fell that far with this run of offensive tackles and quarterbacks. That's the only thing that makes sense. I thought he was a top-15, top-12 talent, and he just fell right into their laps. ... He was definitely one of my more favorite players in this draft. He checked every box."
The Eagles has one-up the Cowboys this offseason.
Aside from Mitchell, another major addition to the talented Eagles offense is Saquon Barkley.
Last year, Parsons also witnessed how Jalen Carter fell into Eagle's laps. Carter is a player he though would excel in an instant in the NFL.
Parsons was right about it.
