The United States men's basketball national team is leaving no stone unturned for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, bolstering its roster with yet another NBA star.

Team USA disclosed the initial 11 out of the 12 roster spots yesterday, and now, the 12th and final roster spot has been officially determined.

Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard is set to complete the Team USA roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics, according to NBA reporter Jeff Zillgitt of USA TODAY on Tuesday, April 16.

While Leonard has never competed for Team USA in an official tournament, he has previously donned the national team colors for some exhibition games a few years back.

The 32-year-old small forward is widely acclaimed as one of the greatest two-way players in NBA history.

Leonard's illustrious career includes two NBA championships, earning the Finals MVP in 2014 with the San Antonio Spurs and again in 2019 with the Toronto Raptors.

Leonard will join a stacked Team USA roster, which boasts fellow NBA Finals MVPs LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant.

Reigning NBA MVP Joel Embiid, despite having the option to play for France and Cameroon, has chosen to represent the United States.

Additionally, NBA stars Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker, Jrue Holiday, Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards, Bam Adebayo, and Tyrese Haliburton will provide additional firepower as they aim to reassert their dominance on the international stage.
