The Los Angeles Clippers played their final regular-season game at the Crypto.com Arena, formerly the Staples Center, against the visiting Houston Rockets last Sunday, April 14.
The team ensured that it was a memorable night for everyone in attendance. The event marked the end of their lease in the building, which began in the 1999-00 season.
The Clippers reportedly covered the costs of concessions (food and drink) for all the fans in the building, according to ABC7 Los Angeles.
While the total amount remains undisclosed, 19,370 fans were present at the game, as reported by the league.
The Clippers will continue to use the Crypto.com Arena for the 2024 NBA Playoffs, where they will face the Dallas Mavericks in the first round.

However, starting next season, they will relocate to their new state-of-the-art home arena, the Intuit Dome in Inglewood.
Clippers fans received a lot of free food last Sunday
In addition to the Clippers' gracious gesture, fans in the arena were treated to even more free food courtesy of Houston Rockets center Boban Marjanovic.
Taking advantage of the Clippers' promotion, where fans receive a free Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich if a visiting team misses two consecutive free throws in the fourth quarter, the Serbian big man intentionally missed a foul shot, allowing the fans to enjoy the complimentary sandwich.
The food offerings may provide some consolation for the Clippers, considering their 116-105 loss to the Rockets.
