WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley's record-breaking reign as the Women's World Champion has concluded at 380 days.
The 27-year-old Australian opened the latest WWE Monday Night Raw episode on April 15 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, with a heartbreaking announcement.
Ripley made her way to the ring wearing a sling and revealed that she would be forced to vacate the Women's World Championship title due to an injury.
Just nine days earlier, on April 6, Ripley successfully defended her title against Becky Lynch on Night 1 of WrestleMania 40.
She went on to call out Liv Morgan, attributing the alleged shoulder injury to a backstage brawl between the two during last week's RAW episode.
Ripley expressed anger and disappointment upon learning that she would need to vacate the title she won last year at WrestleMania 39, stating that she would be "stuck on the bench for quite a few months."
"When I come back, I'm coming back for blood," she warned before leaving the championship belt in the middle of the ring.
Liv Morgan interrupts Rhea Ripley's segment
During Ripley's speech, Morgan suddenly entered, with security guards attempting to restrain her.
Additional security and Raw general manager Adam Pearce intervened to prevent Ripley from retaliating against Morgan.
In her frustration, Ripley headbutted one of the security guards who was trying to stop her.
