JETS vs BLUE JACKETS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from Columbus

Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, the Winnipeg Jets (14-15-5, 33 points) and Columbus Blue Jackets (14-15-4, 32 points) go head-to-head live from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus for the first of two meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here. Winnipeg fans can hear all of the action on TSN 1290 while Columbus fans can do the same on Sports Radio 97.1 The Fan.

Winnipeg enters play at the start of a stretch where the team will play five games in eight days while Columbus has some questions in between the pipes. Columbus is just three points out of a playoff berth in the Eastern Conference while Winnipeg has one more point than them but is 10 points out of a playoff spot in the Western Conference.

The Jets kept trying to catch up to the Dallas Stars on Saturday but eventually gave up too many goals and lost 6-4.

"What I say doesn't matter," Blake Wheeler told NHL.com. "It's what you do out on the ice. You can blow smoke as much as you want out in the media; we've been blowing smoke for three years. [I] and everyone who has stood in front of a microphone for three years, we've said the same [words]."

Wheeler is second on the team with 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points while Dustin Byfuglien is third on the team with six tallies and 17 helpers for 23 points and Bryan Little leads the team with 30 points off of 13 goals and 17 assists.

The Blue Jackets blew a 3-1 lead after the first period and lost 4-3 in overtime to the St. Louis Blues on Saturday.

"I thought our effort was there," forward Brandon Dubinsky said via NHL.com. "Obviously we're disappointed and we need to be better to get a better result, which means eliminate some of the mistakes we made."

Dubinsky is second on the team with 24 points off of six goals and 21 assists while Ryan Johansen is on an eight-game point streak and leads the team by lighting the lamp 12 times and adding 14 assists for 26 points and James Wisniewski has found the twine two times and added 16 helpers for 18 points.

Columbus has had to deal with injuries to its goalies as reigning Vezina Trophy winner Sergei Bobrovsky (groin) is sidelined and his replacement, Curtis McElhinney left the team's game Thursday with a lower-body injury. Mike McKenna took over and is probable to start tonight. McKenna is 0-0-1 with a 3.00 goals-against average and a .898 save percentage. Ondrej Pavelec is likely to start for Winnipeg, and is 10-13-4 with a 2.85 GAA and a .909 save percentage.

The Jets hope that they can start their busy stretch with a bang while the Blue Jackets will look to work around injuries when the lights come up at Nationwide Arena tonight in Columbus.
