WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has commented on the wrestling promotion's recent use of profanity and blood in their programming despite years of adhering to a PG rating.

The 14-time world champion discussed this during an appearance on social media personality and WWE talent Logan Paul's podcast, "IMPAULSIVE," in its latest episode, released on Friday, April 5.

"I believe there's a time for things to work, there's a time for everything but it's got to be done in moderation, it's got to be done when it's right. Because if you don't, if everything you say is just cussing who cares?," the 54-year-old executive told the reigning WWE United States Champion.

During the March 25 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson made Cody Rhodes bleed in the show's final segment through a brutal beating.

Additionally, he utilized profanity multiple times in his promos since coming back, albeit censored on broadcast.

Triple H credits The Rock for shock value

Triple H has acknowledged The Rock for bringing high shock value to those segments.

"You tune that out, it doesn't matter. But right now we're so clean on it that Rock says something, given his position as a disrupter and guy coming from the outside its believable. He has that leeway and doesn't care, and it's shocking because it's not been that way."

The former wrestler also emphasized reserving such moments when they genuinely carry weight and have a huge impact.
