The Philadelphia Eagles are adding another talented wide receiver to their roster.
Seven-time Pro Bowl selection Julio Jones is set to sign with the Super Bowl runners-up to their practice squad, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport. This marks the fourth team for the wide receiver in as many seasons.
The #Eagles are actually signing Julio Jones to their practice squad, source said, though expect a quick elevation and/or signing to the 53-man roster when he gets up to speed. Most signings this time of year start on the PS to manage rosters. This is another example.

He is expected to quickly be promoted to the 53-man roster once he becomes acclimated and ready to contribute.
Jones spent ten seasons with the Atlanta Falcons from 2011 to 2020 before moving to the Tennessee Titans in 2021 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022.
The 34-year-old, widely regarded as one of the best wide receivers of the 2010s, joins an already talented group of wide receivers for the Eagles, which includes former Titans teammate A.J. Brown and Alabama standout DeVonta Smith.
They also have Quez Watkins, although he is currently on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury.

Julio Jones' last campaign
In July 2022, the two-time First Team All-Pro inked a deal with the Buccaneers to play alongside legendary quarterback Tom Brady.
Jones appeared in 10 games in the regular season, securing 24 receptions for 299 yards and recording two touchdowns.
His last game with Tampa Bay occurred in a Wild Card Round playoff match against Dallas last January, which they lost 31-14. Jones made seven catches for 74 yards in that game and scored a touchdown.
He became an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
