The UFC and the WWE are two promotions that house big names in the world of fight sports. Among the top names that come to mind are Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, and Bobby Lashley.

Both promotions are now under one umbrella after the official merger under parent company TKO, a new $21.4 billion sports entertainment company, CBS Sports reported.

The WWE and the UFC will continue to run as separate promotions but under one umbrella. But as far as fighters are concerned, it would not be surprising to see some talents jump from the UFC to the WWE and vice versa.

In the eyes of WWE President Nick Khan, some UFC stars could jump to the WWE scene. Khan shed light on this when he spoke to Marc Raimondi of ESPN.

"UFC fighters are going to stay focused on the UFC, and WWE superstars obviously do something different in our ring," Khan said. "... But you also see in the UFC people with big personalities who, once their UFC run is done, once the UFC and the fighter says, 'Hey, maybe now's the time to call it a day,' could those people have a longer life at WWE, an extended life with TKO? We think so."

Conor McGregor would be perfect for the WWE

It would make sense for UFC fighters whose mixed martial arts career is spiraling. Daniel Cormier has already tried it out as a special guest referee in past WWE events.

Another big UFC name is Conor McGregor, hinting that he could someday get involved in the WWE, USA Today noted. Nothing has come close to that for now. But given how he hyped his previous fights, marring them with controversies, "The Notorious" could be a huge addition to the WWE pool.
