Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts commented on pitcher Julio Urias' arrest due to domestic violence on Sunday night.

The 51-year-old skipper was shocked and called the incident unfortunate but declined to make additional statements while the MLB and proper authorities are still conducting their investigations.

The team is still deciding who would be their next starting pitcher, and the Dodgers manager said that it is a day-to-day process and he does not want to get too far ahead of things.

The Mexican previously held the role before the ongoing controversy.

Roberts has not addressed the team yet about the situation, but he thinks everyone in the locker room knows it.

"I think everyone feels the same way I do as far as a very unfortunate circumstance. I don't think anyone knows all that has gone on and went on. I think our guys are just focused on today and let things play out," Roberts said.

Julio Urias is set to become free agent

The 27-year-old is set to hit the open market in the offseason, and there's a huge possibility that he has played his last game in Los Angeles if the MLB suspends him for the rest of the season and the Dodgers do not give him a new deal.
