UFC top brass Dana White has set the record straight on claims that Ronda Rousey will be fighting once more for the promotion at UFC 300, which is scheduled to take place by the first quarter of 2024.
Rousey is arguably one of the top names the UFC had when she was still with the promotion, and it initially appeared to make sense. Unfortunately, these suggestions never came from the promotion, and now White has set the record straight, TSN MMA reporter Aaron Bronsteter reported.
"Stop reading the Daily Mail, everything that they write is a crock of s**t," the 54-year-old executive reported.
White added that it makes no sense for Rousey, who has already accomplished so much - particularly in the WWE.
Aside from that, Rousey is busy attending to her family with her husband and mixed martial artist Travis Browne.
"Ronda's having kids! Ronda built this whole thing that's going on with the women here, then her dream was to go to the WWE. She went there and did everything that she did there and achieved. She's made s--t loads of money. She's moved on with her life," the UFC boss added to Bronsteter.
It was on Sunday, August 27, when the British tabloid The Daily Mail released a report suggesting that the 36-year-old is allegedly focusing on possibly having one last fight at UFC 300.
Aside from Rousey, another former UFC name who made the jump to the WWE is being floated, Brock Lesnar.
Although the "Beast Incarnate" continues to be a big draw, White is not holding out hope that Lesnar will ever make a return to the Octagon, Sports Illustrated reported.
"I think Brock's done," White told the outlet. "I don't think he ever comes back."
