Team USA may have cruised to a convincing victory over Puerto Rico in a tune-up game, but New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson lost some after losing his wallet in the arena.

Brunson, who signed a four-year $104 million contract at the start of last season, took to X to expose the guys who found his wallet and used the money they found to buy food.

They were teammates Tyrese Haliburton and Brandon Ingram, who even made fun of him for forgetting his possession.

Haliburton posted their shenanigans on his IG account, and the Knicks point guard was quick to ride on the joke saying the duo will not be good criminals.

Of course, the three were joking around and letting their fans in on their bonding as they prepare for Team USA's title defense in the FIBA World Cup this month.

Chemistry is huge for a team as young as them.

Brunson as the leader

The Knicks point guard may have lost some change from his wallet, but the weight on his shoulder could get a little heavier as he is being pointed to as the leader of the young USA national basketball team.

Coach Steve Kerr sees Brunson as the squad leader since, according to him; it comes naturally for the 6'2 guard.

Brunson is ready to accept the challenge.

"You got to lead by example, you got to use your voice and you got to know your audience," he said when asked about Kerr's praises.

"But I think most importantly what I've got from this group of guys within this first day is that everyone's willing to sacrifice. That's what we need to win, and we have a lot of guys who are willing to do that."
