NFL legend Tom Brady has found a new venture to keep himself busy since retirement by joining English club Birmingham City FC as a minority owner.

The 46-year-old athlete made the announcement himself on his X account.

He admitted that entering the world of association football is new territory for him, but he believes he can bring something to the club.

"So here's the deal: I'm officially coming on board at Birmingham City Football Club," Brady said in the video posted by Birmingham Thursday.

"And maybe you're asking, 'What do you know about English football, Tom?' And let's just say I've got a lot to learn. But I do know a few things about winning, and I think they might translate pretty well."

Brady sure has the accolades to back up his talk.

He has the most Super Bowl wins in NFL history, with seven. This comes with five Super Bowl MVPs, also the most in the league's history.

Birmingham plays in England's Championship, a division lower than the country's top-flight competition Premier League.

American athletes investing in European football

Brady joins a slew of American athletes who invested in European football.

His fellow NFL legend JJ Wyatt is part owner of Premier League club Burnley FC.

NBA future Hall of Famer Lebron James also has stakes in Liverpool, while 2017 MVP Russell Westbrook, Larry Nance Jr., and T.J. McConnell are all minority partners of Leeds United, which is also part of the Championship.
