New York Jets star Aaron Rodgers had already made his feelings about Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton known for attacks on his team's offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.

However, he is not yet done with him. He will rip the current Broncos caretaker even more if he has his way.

"I still got a lot more to say, [but] I don't need to," Rodgers said during an appearance at FanDuel TV.

"I stand by everything that I said. There is a way of handling things, and probably a way not to. Sometimes you say something really stupid, it warrants an apology, and sometimes you don't apologize. Everybody's entitled to their opinion. Sean's entitled to his opinion, I'm entitled to mine."

Payton came under fire for calling Hackett's stint as Denver coach the worst in NFL history and blaming him for the drop of Russell Wilson's career.

Rodgers, who joined the Jets this summer with Hackett, recently called Payton insecure for the comments and told him to "keep my coaches' names out of his mouth."

Payton responds to Rodgers's comments

Payton apologized for what he said, explaining that he felt he was still working as a Fox commentator when he dropped those words.

As for Rodgers' call out, he only said, "No. We're past it."

The New York Giants will meet the Denver Broncos on October 9.

With words that cut deep, it will be interesting to see if the two are really past it.
