New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu put up the greatest performance in WNBA Three-Point Contest history.

The 5-foot-11 guard could not miss in the contest's final round, scoring 37 of the possible 40 points while missing only two shots by hitting 25 out of her 27 attempts. Ionescu's 37 points are the highest in the competition's history for both the WNBA and NBA.

The 25-year-old also made 20 consecutive shots at one point, including both shots from the further Starry range. The two-time All-Star decisively took home the Three-Point Contest crown at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"Well, I was just focused on making one at a time. I wasn't sure how many I missed, but I knew it wasn't a lot," Ionsecu said in the interview after receiving the trophy.

Her opponents in the final round, Seattle Storm guard Sami Whitcomb and Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale, scored 24 and 11 points, respectively.

The Liberty guard faced much more resistance in the first round of the contest, where she did not end up with the most points.

Whitcomb topped the group in the first round, scoring 28 points.
