Golden State Warriors big man Kevon Looney showed off what he has been working out during this offseason to improve his skills.
The 27-year-old was seen nailing several pull-up midrange jumpers in a row inside the gym of his alma mater UCLA.
UCLA Bruins women's basketball coach Cori Close was glad that many former Bruins who make it in the NBA still work on their game on the school's premises.
Looney's three-year contract worth $22.5 million is considered one of the biggest bargains in the league, as he regularly surpassed the value of his deal with his invaluable contributions on the court.
The 6-foot-9 will not make over $10 million in each season of the deal he signed during the 2022 offseason, months after being an integral part of the team that won that year's NBA championship.
Looney has been part of three championship rosters of Golden State during their dynasty for the past decade in 2017, 2018, and 2022. The team drafted him as the 30th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
