Indiana Pacers All-Star Tyrese Haliburton can't help but imagine what it would have been like had he stayed with the Sacramento Kings as they reached the playoffs for the first time in 17 years last season.
The 23-year-old point guard thought it would've been great if he was there to harvest what the team planted years before.
"I was little, so I had never seen it before," he said during an appearance on "Podcast P" With Paul George.

"So going to Sac I was like, I get the opportunity to build something here. I was excited about that. I wanted to be part of the group with [De'Aaron] Fox and those guys to be like, we were the ones who turned this around and made it like, people were interested in the Kings again."
Was His trade best for both parties?
Many Kings fans were shocked and angry to see him go, but things worked themselves out eventually.
Haliburton was only a secondary PG with the Kings behind Fox, and it is believed that his skills were freed up when he joined the Pacers as its main point guard.
True enough, he was selected in his first All-Star Game last season and signed a max deal last month.
For Sacramento, they were able to maximize Fox and got an All-Star level big man in Sabonis, leading them to an elusive playoff spot.
Now, Haliburton is looking to emulate the success of a young King. He believes it is now playoff or bust for him coming into the new season after being promoted as the team's new cornerstone.
