Dallas enters game on a nightmarish 1-2-2 swing while Chicago is finally home after a seven-game road trip where the team went an impressive 6-1-0.

The Blackhawks closed out their final road game while the circus was using the United Center Saturday night with a 5-2 win in Phoenix against the Coyotes.

"It's a long time to be away from home, but we heard it's the best 'Circus Trip' in the history of the Hawks," Patrick Kane said via NHL.com. "If you told us before the trip that we'd be [6-1-0], I think we'd all be happy with that. We didn't start off the way we wanted to [with a loss against the Colorado Avalanche] but it definitely finished the way we wanted to."

Kane leads the defending Stanley Cup champions with 30 points off of 16 goals and 14 assists while captain Jonathan Toews has 12 tallies and 13 helpers for 25 points and Duncan Keith has a goal and 23 assists for 24 points.

The Stars were missing their second best scorer in Tyler Seguin (12-11-23) on Sunday when the team lost to the Edmonton Oilers in a shootout due to concussion-like symptoms, and the team still lost despite Ryan Garbutt notching a pair of goals.

"It's obviously pretty important to have good shootouts, but I think that's something we need to work on as a team," Garbutt told the team website after the game when Dallas fell to 3-3 in the skills competition on the season.

Jamie Benn leads the Stars with seven goals and 17 assists for 24 points and will look to help the team bounce back.

In net, Kari Lehtonen is 10-5-4 with a 2.18 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage for Dallas while Corey Crawford is 17-4-3 with a 2.36 GAA and a .913 save percentage for Chicago.

The Stars look to turn around their recent fortunes while the Blackhawks hope to bring some of their road success home when the puck drops at the United Center tonight in Chicago.
