Ronda Rousey is reportedly training with a new strength and nutrition coach to improve her technique.

There was once a time when Ronda Rousey was the most dominant athlete in MMA. But in this fast and ruthless sport, failure to evolve and change is a death sentence for every fighter, even for Rousey. "Rowdy" has now lost two straight fights all in the first round in devastating fashion. Her aura of invincibility is now long gone.

Much of the criticisms regarding Ronda Rousey's most recent performances is directed at her failure to evolve her fighting style. Rousey has fought mostly the same throughout her career using the same tactics. Holly Holm was able to expose her weakness in the striking department and resulted in Rousey's first career loss.

When it comes to tactics and techniques, the responsibility rests on the fighter's team. Edmond Tarverdyan has been Ronda Rousey's coach since the beginning and it's clear to see how the coach is lacking in his abilities. Ronda Rousey is a tremendous athlete but that alone isn't enough for the sport of MMA.

Since the loss, several MMA personalities expressed their sympathy over the fallen athlete. Most of them suggested that Ronda Rousey must change camps in an effort to learn new techniques. But nothing has surfaced so far which led to the speculation that Rousey may be done fighting in the UFC.

That is until recently, reports are saying that Ronda Rousey is training with a new strength and nutrition coach. According to a report from Champions, Dan Garner welcomed Ronda in his team in his facebook post. In his post, the coach expresses his excitement in having the famed MMA fighter on his team.

Garner says that Ronda Rousey is all set for a comprehensive nutritional programming process that the coach will design for her. This marks the first change in Rousey's coaching team since her time with Edmond.

For now, it remains uncertain as to why Ronda Rousey hired a new coach. The judo specialist hasn't given any indications on her next move as a fighter. But from the looks of it, she seems serious in changing her ways and maybe back in the octagon soon.
