Adrian Peterson is one the biggest names in the NFL free agency. But so far, the running back has yet to find a team. Peterson is coming off an injury-plagued season wherein he played 3 games. At 32 years old, it seems that teams are reluctant to sign him but according to the player, finding the right team is most important.

The former Minnesota Vikings running back was released after the team decided to opt of Adrian Peterson's contract. The contract would have the Vikings pay Peterson $18 million which for them seems too much for an injured and declining player.

For many, the reason why Adrian Peterson has failed to land team yet is because he wants a contract that would pay him close to what the Vikings used to pay him. But according to Peterson, that nothing but nonsense. In a report from ESPN, Peterson made it known that he is not looking for money for his next contract.

In Adrian Peterson's Twitter account, he made a lengthy post about his reaction towards the media that has painting the wrong picture. According to him, everything was written or said about him by the media is false. He adds that the main objective for him is not the money but the right team which he could help the most to win a championship.

For now, Adrian Peterson is still available in the market. For some, signing Peterson is a huge risk given the amount of money he wants from his contract and as well as his condition. He is still recovering from his torn meniscus and teams have yet to see how he will fare after the injury.

One of the few teams rumored to sign Adrian Peterson is the New England Patriots. But according to WEEI, it would be unlikely for the Patriots to sign Peterson. It looks like Peterson might have to look elsewhere for a team or maybe consider lowering his price.
