Cody Rhodes and John Cena delivered another excellent promo on the latest edition of Monday Night Raw, and this time, some controversial topics were touched upon.
Probably the most controversial of them all is the reference Rhodes made to former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
It can be recalled that McMahon stepped away from the company after abuse allegations were made against him by a former employee.
How Rhodes Referenced Vince McMahon
During the promo on Monday Night Raw, Cena insulted Rhodes by calling him an errand boy who does not look like him, doesn't act like him, and doesn't work like him.
Rhodes rebutted by saying that it was the WWE universe who chose him to carry the company and be their champion.
"Can you say the same, John Cena?" Rhodes asked. "Or was it one guy in an office who chose you, who's not here anymore, and we don't talk about him?"
The segment ended with Rhodes gaining the upper hand after Cena tried a cheap shot, hitting Cross Rhodes on the 16-time world champion.

Is Cena Winning?
The promo that both superstars cut in the ring has led to speculations that Cena will win their match at WrestleMania 41.
According to a report by Sporskeeda, WWE may have hinted on this outcome by having Rhodes standing tall at the end of the promo. This may mean that Cena will get the last laugh come WrestleMania.
However, it can also be pointed out that both Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre have hinted at going after Rhodes and his title. If this is a sign that Rhodes is retaining his championship remains to be seen.
If there's one thing that's sure, it's that WWE storytelling has been unpredictable since Paul "Triple H" Levesque took the helm of the creative side. At this point, anything can still happen.
