Interim UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway is set to face reigning UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo at UFC 212 on June 3 in a title unification bout. There have been a lot of rumors regarding Holloway and he squashed all of them by calling out Aldo, Dana White and Conor McGregor.

In an interview with Damon Martin of FOX Sports, Max Holloway revealed all of his frustrations regarding all the "alternate facts" about him. He went on to explain his side and blasted Aldo, White and McGregor. Here is some of what he said in the interview.

Jose Aldo declined to face him last year

Max Holloway had the chance to face Jose Aldo in February but an ankle injury forced him out of the fight. He noted that Aldo was the first to pull out from their scheduled fight last year at UFC 205. He was referencing Aldo's insistence on wanting to fight Conor McGregor.

"The fight is happening June 3 cause Mr. Aldo didn't want to show up at 205 because he was kicking and crying and complaining to the UFC that he wanted to fight the one guy that everybody is trying to chase and everybody knows who that guy is," Holloway said.

Dana White offered him a movie role

Max Holloway is set to have a role in the Hollywood film titled "Den of Thieves" alongside Gerard Butler and rapper 50 Cent, per Bloody Elbow. "Blessed" told Martin that it was UFC president Dana White who offered him the role.

It is why Holloway was very confused when White blamed him for the fight happening in June and not in an earlier date. Doctors ruled him out for six weeks earlier this year leading to his showdown with Jose Aldo to get canceled once again.

Conor McGregor was not the only one injured during their 2013 fight

The last time Max Holloway lost was at UFC Fight Night 26 in 2013 when Conor McGregor defeated him via unanimous decision. Many fans remember the fight where McGregor suffered a torn ACL sometime in the second round.

Holloway set the record straight and reminded everyone that he suffered an ankle injury in the opening seconds of the fight. He's not going to make any excuses for the loss but he wants everyone to remember that he also fought with an injury.

The 25-year-old Hawaiian star has won ten straight fights since losing to Conor McGregor. Jose Aldo will be his biggest opponent to date but Holloway is not scared of him. He also wants to get a rematch with McGregor at 145 pounds.
