Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor is now the talk of the town after the UFC's negotiations with Floyd Mayweather Jr. fell through. However, UFC president Dana White noted that Pacquiao vs. McGregor is not happening for a very simple reason.

In an interview with Yahoo! Sports, White told Kevin Iole that he does not want to negotiate a fight with Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum. It should be noted that White and Arum do not like each other and they have a mini-feud going on.

"Listen, I love Manny Pacquiao but I don't love Bob Arum. You can tell Arum to save his money and not make any calls over here because we aren't doing business with him," White said.

According to The Sun, the UFC president is not a big fan of the Top Rank CEO. White even went as far as calling Arum a "dirtbag" in the past. Nevertheless, the Pacquiao vs. McGregor fight started when "Pac-Man" opened up about it last week.

As far as the careers of both superstars are concerned, they are going to be pretty busy in the next several months. Pacquiao will prepare soon for his next fight, possibly against Australian star Jeff Horn, in April in Australia, per ABS-CBN News.

The 38-year-old boxer-senator is set to retire in 2018 and he is looking to fight four more times. He last fought on November 5, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada against Jessie Vargas. He won the WBO welterweight championship via unanimous decision.

On the other hand, McGregor has taken some time off from fighting since winning the UFC lightweight championship on November 12, 2016, at UFC 205. He defeated Eddie Alvarez via second round stoppage. He also became the first-ever UFC fighter to hold two titles from two different weight classes simultaneously.

The possibility of Pacquiao vs. McGregor happening is low since they both come from different sports. Pacquiao will surely win if it is a boxing match while McGregor is going to get the easy victory if it's inside the Octagon.
