The Cleveland Cavaliers have had a rough month of March, and have won just four of their last 10 games. But the team that has struggled with injuries all season long is set to get some major help as according to Cavs general manager David Griffin, All-Star forward Kevin Love could be ready to return for their upcoming road trip.

As reported by CBS Sports, Kevin Love took part in Tuesday’s three-on-three scrimmage and could return some time during the Cleveland Cavaliers’ upcoming west coast road trip. Love, who underwent knee surgery four weeks ago, also underwent on-court agility and shooting drills early last week. The sharpshooting forward is reportedly looking to participate in a full practice later in the week to gauge how his knee feels.

“If he gets through it, he has no soreness, we’ll let him keep taking the next step all the way through, and we’ll see what that means,” Cleveland Cavaliers GM David Griffin said about Kevin Love’s ongoing rehab. “I would anticipate that he’ll play sometime on the road trip.”

But while there remains an amount of uncertainty surrounding Kevin Love’s return, Tyronn Lue is confident that his team is ready “to take off.” Despite losses to the Boston Celtics and the Houston Rockets, Lue was pleased with the team’s recent defensive efforts. The Cleveland Cavaliers have also gone through a tough stretch in the schedule, playing six of seven games on the road, which as noted by Cleveland.com

, two separate back-to-backs, and four of seven games against playoff teams. The fact that the team still holds the no. 1 seed in the East, has Lue remaining confident as they brace for the playoffs.

Apart from Kevin Love, the Cleveland Cavaliers have also had to withstand injuries to J.R. Smith, who just recently returned from a thumb injury, and Kyle Korver, who missed his fourth straight game with a foot injury. The Cavs also saw midseason acquisition Andrew Bogut play in just 58 seconds before breaking his leg in his Cleveland debut.
