Samsung has released the all new smartphone, Galaxy C5 Pro in China. The smartphone has been listed on Samsung official China's website, and users can pre-order the device currently. The Galaxy C5 Pro is simply a smaller and compact version of the Galaxy C7 Pro, which Samsung recently launched in China recently. The phone differs only in screen size and battery capacity and shares almost all the hardware specs of its older sibling.

The Galaxy C5 Pro has a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Smartphone is equipped by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage capacity which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The new smartphone also supports Samsung Pay, which is the mobile payments app was recently launched in India too, according to Financial Express.

The new Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro features a 16MP rear camera with auto-focus, f/1.9 aperture and flash. The camera of the latest phone supports full HD (1920 x 1080) video recording at 30 fps. Interestingly, the selfie camera is also 16MP which comes with f/1.9 aperture. The Galaxy C5 Pro is fuelled by a 2,600mAh battery which claims up to 96 hours of standby time.

In terms of connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro has USB Type-C and 3.5 mm stereo jack. The latest smartphone supports GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, ANT+, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n 2.4 + 5GHz and NFC. However the sensors include the Acceleration sensor, Fingerprint reader, Gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, Proximity sensor and RGB light sensor. In terms of dimensions, the C5 Pro measures 145.7 x 71.4 x 7 mm and weighs 145 grams, as reported by NDTV.

Currently pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro are open on Samsung's China website. The smartphone is available in three different colors which are Lake Blue, Powder Rose, and Maple Leaf. The device is priced at around $32 or CNY 2,499 and it will start shipping from March 16..
