Billboards for the unannounced Oppo F3 and F3 Plus were spotted in the Philippines recently, and now the smartphone maker is sending out invites for an official press event that will take place on March 23. The event is scheduled to be held on March 23, and while the F3 and F3 Plus aren't openly mentioned, it's only logical that they will be the stars of the show.

However the press invite does not specifically mention both the OPPO F3 and the F3 Plus, so there is always the possibility that something else will be announced in its place. But the general consensus is that these devices are what will be on show come March 23.

The invite were sent out by OPPO Philippines to local news outlets is titled "Selfie Expert Launch Event" and calls tech enthusiasts to witness "the new era of dual selfie camera." So from the invite, being the next Selfie Experts - a marketing slogan Oppo used for the original F1, the F3 and F3 Plus will up their selfie game by packing a dual front camera, or if just one of the two models - most probably the OPPO F3 Plus - will boast this feature, according to GSM Arena.

As far as internal hardware of the rumored phone is concerned, recent speculations suggest that the OPPO F3 will house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 System-on-Chip (SoC) featuring eight CPU cores with 4GB of RAM. Device could also pack a 32GB of internal storage, and a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display panel, as reported by Android Headlines.

On the other hand, the OPPO F3 Plus is expected to feature a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with a higher pixel count and the same Qualcomm-made chipset, with 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage space. Specifications aside, as both smartphones are expected to be announced later in this month.
