The Tony Romo free agency status has taken to another level once again. Latest news is now saying that his time with the Dallas Cowboys seems to be over when he took in social media which appears to be a farewell message to the Cowboys fans.

Since last year, Tony Romo had been linked to numerous trade deals. He was supposed to be the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys for the 2016 NFL season. But, he suffered a back injury in a preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks preventing him from playing at the beginning of the season.

With Tony Romo's injury, the Dallas Cowboys had no choice but to use rookie QB Dak Prescott as a replacement and luckily it paid off. Prescott leads the team to 11 straight victories after dropping the first game of the season, an impressive feat for a rookie like him. And with the emergence of Prescott, Romo wasn't able to keep his job as the starting quarterback of the team and settle as backup QB for the Cowboys.

And now, a big development with Tony Romo made headlines today as the 36-year old quarterback took in social media his current status with the Dallas Cowboys. According to NFL.com, Romo posts a goodbye video on Instagram thanking fans for love and support given to him. The video had a background music from Bob Dylan's 1964 classic song "The Times They Are a-Changin".

Tony Romo was not released by the Dallas Cowboys Thursday, the start of free agency market, that somehow signify that he'll be staying with them. However, Romo released the video Thursday afternoon that proves to be a confirmation of his imminent departure.

CBSSports further reported that it is still not official as the Dallas Cowboys never made any announcement nor comment with regards to Tony Romo status as of this time. But Romo knows well that his time with the Cowboys is done and he broadcast it for the whole world to know.

One team that seems to be happy to know this development is the Houston Texans. The Texans had been a 'strong suitor' for Tony Romo ever since and just recently traded QB Brock Osweiler to the Cleveland Browns to free up some cap space to absorb Romo's contract. With this, it is pretty sure that Romo will be one hot commodity to watch out for.

Is Tony Romo really leaving the Dallas Cowboys? Will he end up to the Houston Texans?
