Just a few games after returning from a hamstring injury, Jeremy Lin has already proven that the Brooklyn Nets is a different team with him on the floor. Lin's recent 18 points performance in a win against the Memphis Grizzlies is but a reminder of what the point guard can do.

According to CBS Sports, Jeremy Lin may have a chance to re-capture his old Linsanity form in his New York City days if he continues to be productive. The Brooklyn Nets' win against the Memphis Grizzlies last Monday is the second consecutive game that the crafty point guard has scored 18 points.

Though the Nets' NBA season is already a lost cause, the team can use the remainder of the season to get Jeremy Lin back into his old self. This is actually a good strategy for the Brooklyn Nets as the team looks forward to a better 2018 NBA season.

According to the NY Post, the version of Jeremy Lin featured in the win against the Memphis Grizzlies is what the Brooklyn Nets had hoped to see when they signed the point guard during the off season. The nine straight points that Jeremy Lin scored during a fourth quarter rally in Monday's game is but a glimpse of Lin's scoring ability.

Jeremy Lin has already proven himself to be a very capable scorer when given the right system to play on. During his New York Knicks Linsanity days, Jeremy Lin was able to score twenty or more points on a nightly basis.

The Brooklyn Nets is still in search for a franchise corner stone as it continues its rebuilding process. A healthy Jeremy Lin is capable of wreaking havoc offensively and can also stand his ground defensively. With Lin still at his prime, the Brooklyn Nets may already have a key piece to work on.
