There is now a new holder of the Intercontinental Championship as Dominik Mysterio won the title at WrestleMania 41.

Mysterio is the winner of the fatal four-way match that involved former champion, Bron Breakker, Penta, and fellow Judgement Day teammate, Finn Balor.

Much to the delight of the crowd, Mysterio pinned Balor to win the title.

Dominik Mysterio Wins the Intercontinental Championship

Both Mysterio and Balor benefited from the help provided by Judgement Day teammate Carlito until he was taken out by a spear on the announce table from Breakker.

While it seemed like Balor had the win after hitting his finishing move on Breakker, Mysterio was able to steal a victory with a Frog Splash.

Balor was clearly upset and confused that Mysterio won the title at his expense. What this means for the Judgement Day remains to be seen.

WrestleMania 41's New Champions

Mysterio is not the only WWE Superstar that has been crowned as a new champion during WWE's two-day WrestleMania 41.

During WrestleMania Saturday, Jey Uso opened the event by winning the World Heavyweight Champion from Gunther.

The New Day are once again World Tag Team Champions after defeating the War Raiders, while Jacob Fatu is the new United States Champion after beating LA Knight.
