Phil Jackson have won his NBA titles with his triangle offense which produced some of the best players in the history of the sport namely Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. With him taking over the New York Knicks as the president, the blue and orange injected the system this season through coach Jeff Hornacek.

It's not just the basketball club head who likes running the equal-opportunity system on the court, but also their forward Kristaps Porzingis. The 7-foot-3 forward is positive that instilling the triangle offense will enable his team to win more games.

Reports from Newsday that not just as being a fan of the system, the Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis believes that it will benefit everybody on the team and for the team as a whole.

"We're starting to learn it now the way we should .. we should have been playing from the beginning of the season," Kristaps Porzingis said. "So we're a little behind. But every game we're getting a little better. Hopefully, I don't know when, we can start using it properly and making some impact playing it."

With the opinion coming from the unicorn himself, the management should look at it very deeply as New York sees Kristaps Porzingis as the new cornerstone of the team. Knicks Sports Radio even supported the idea of the team to rebuild around the 21-year old European.

On the same article from Newsday, Hornacek said that they have been talking about the idea of the triangle offense. "Different things in the triangle you can do. Sometimes you call them out of timeout plays. That's some of the things Phil has said."

With the system starting to get into the playbook, Bleacher Report believes that this could push Carmelo Anthony away as he's desperate on playing for a contender than to be a side piece where he was once the center of the line-up revamp.

Derrick Rose, who is more of a pick-and-roll player, is open to adapting to the new system shall the management decided to fully apply it to the team. He pointed out a point where he is just standing at the corner but D-Rose trusts his coach so much that he is ready to embrace the role he will be doing.
