While most of the basketball followers are following the Shaquille O'Neal - JaVale McGee rift on social media that came to an end when Momma Shaq came into the picture as Sports World News previously reported, Paul Pierce and Draymond Green also had their own when their teams clashed last week. The throwing of tirades continued even after the game has ended.

The hard-nosed Golden State forward shared his side of the story on what had transpired his actions by taunting "The Truth" in their 123-113 victory against the Clippers. Through Uninterrupted Podcast of Marcus Thompson II posted on The Mercury News, the 26-year old Draymond Green shared that it started with Paul Pierce reacting to him committing a foul on Blake Griffin.

As published on Bleacher Report, the 39-year old Paul Pierce called Draymond Green as a bum and he won't be on his status now if he's not on a team that has full of all stars. Green, in fact, is one of the four players from the Warriors who took part of the recently concluded all-star game with Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry.

"It's nothing personal," Draymond Green insisted "I don't hate (Paul Pierce). But if you gone talk junk, I don't hold anything back when I'm talking junk. If I'ma talk, I'ma talk. And I'ma take it where it needs to go."

On his side of the story, Boston's 10th pick in 1998 Draft said through CSN that he was hit first when the 6-foot-7 Draymond Green made statements comparing him to Kobe's farewell season. In a previous article by CSN, Green was heard saying "Chasing that farewell tour -- they don't love you like that. You can't get no farewell tour, they don't love you like that ... you thought you was Kobe?"

Knowing Paul Pierce as a fiery player, he hit Draymond Green and his team with his tweet talking about how GSW blew their 3-1 lead in their Finals loss against Cleveland Cavaliers.

Paul Pierce is in his 18th season in the league (his second with LA Clippers). The veteran forward is holding impressive credentials including his 10 all-star appearances and a championship with Boston in 2008 where he was named Finals MVP.

He may be more accomplished than the Michigan State alum Draymond Green but by the looks of it, both their teams close to clinching a playoff berth. There is still a chance for their teams to clash come playoff time and this would be an interesting series on Paul Pierce's final season.
