Without no further details given, Soulja Boy tweeted that Soulja Boy and Chris Brown Celebrity Boxing Match won't push through. It was, according to the "Crank That" singer, because of Brown refusing to sign the papers.
Soulja Boy, DeAndre Cortez in real life, posted "Chris brown manager call my manager last night and said the fight is off and he's not signing the contract. Don't ask me about the sh*t no more." The Soulja Boy and Chris Brown Celebrity Boxing Match was set to happen in Las Vegas.
According to Sky News, the infamous feud between Soulja Boy and Chris Brown started when Soulja Boy commented a heart eyes emoji on the image posted online by the "With You" singer's model ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran. The emoji comment did not sit well with Brown.
Since the feud, Soulja Boy went to Floyd Mayweather for some advice but later declared that he will be training with former Olympian and heavyweight boxer Evander Holyfield. Reports from TMZ said that the two talked about on their plans in "knocking out" Brown and gave the skinny rapper a tip - train harder, talk less.
Brown, not wanting to be left out, will have Mike Tyson train him for the celebrity clash as Mirror News previously reported. Rapper 50 cent reached out to the "baddest man on the planet", telling Tyson that Soulja Boy is being trained by the undefeated Mayweather, prompting the "In Da Club" singer to find a neutralizer.
The 28-year old Tran commented about the feud between the two and called it "ridiculous". "There is so much more out there in life," she added.
The $1 Million celebrity bout is set to happen next month in Vegas and will be in a three-round format and will be available in pay-per-view. Brown has yet to issue a statement regarding the cancellation of their in-ring settlement, Soulja Boy and Chris Brown Celebrity Boxing Match.
