Andrew Bogut and the Philadelphia 76ers has recently agreed to a buyout making the center free to choose a team to join for the second half of the season. The Australian center will reportedly talk with several teams with the Cleveland Cavaliers being the frontrunner.

According to YahooSports, Andrew Bogut is now free to assess his next move following a contract buyout with the Philadelphia 76ers. Bogut was included in the package sent to the Sixers in an NBA trade deadline deal that sent Nerlens Noel to the Mavericks.

There have been speculations that an Andrew Bogut Golden State Warriors reunion may be in the works following the league's statement that the CBA rule that prevents teams from reacquiring a player that they have previously dealt via trade or waiver within the same year does not apply to the Warriors. However, according to hoopshabit, the Dub's future plans does not include a GSW Andrew Bogut reunion.

The Golden State Warriors is also currently in the process of upgrading its roster, however, the Dubs is leaning towards an upgrade in its backcourt rather than the center position. The GSW is likely to pick up point guard Jose Calderon from the waived players' list and has also shown interest in New York Knicks' recently waived Brandon Jennings.

Cleveland, Boston, Houston and San Antonio is currently in the mix to acquire the services of the Australian Center. Though there have been reports that Andrew Bogut going to the Cavaliers is already a done deal, the center will reportedly weigh his options first.

Andrew Bogut may not be as efficient on the offensive side of the floor as he was once but the canter's calling card has always been his defensive presence. Playing alongside able playmakers, LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Deron Williams in the Cleveland Cavaliers will also help boost Bogut's scoring average this season.
