Chicago Bulls Jimmy Butler Trade Talks Still Ongoing, Bulls Is Eyeing Jahlil Okafor Trade On A Separate Deal

The NBA Trade deadline clock is now down to its last few hours and a number of speculated trade deadlines haven't been done yet. One of the most talked about among NBA rumors is the Jimmy Butler trade.

According to NESN, the Chicago Bulls is looking for a potential trade that could land them Jahlil Okafor while still being able to use Jimmy Butler as a trade piece for another key player. There have been a lot of Jimmy Butler trade talks going into the NBA trade deadline and with the clock about to expire, deals may already fall in their places.

A Jimmy Butler trade to Boston Celtics has been one of the most talked about speculation going into the trade deadline. The potential trade would have given the Bulls Brooklyn's first round pick that they have given to Boston and either Jae Crowder, Marcus Smart or Avery Bradley.

Jae Crowder is a logical choice for the Bulls to mitigate the defensive loss they will suffer in case they decide to trade Jimmy Butler. Marcus Smart or Avery Bradley can help Bulls' offense and can also help Chicago's rebuilding process.

Bulls is also reportedly going after Jahlil Okafor. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Chicago has continued to push for a Jahlil Okafor trade.

The Philadelphia 76ers reportedly wants draft picks in exchange for Okafor. The Chicago Bulls has offered Nikola Mirotic to be included in the Jahlil Okafor trade package.

With Chicago Bulls trade plans, the Bulls will have to pull all strings to make the prospective trade deals happen before the deadline. The Jimmy Butler trade may be easy as Boston Celtics has already expressed its interest in making the Jimmy Butler trade happen.

The Jahlil Okafor trade may be a bit tricky as the Bulls may not have enough trade pieces and draft picks to spare. However, if the team can restructure the Jimmy Butler trade to make it a three-team deal, then landing Okafor and shipping Butler to another team may actually happen.
