"Stranger Things" scared a lot of its fans with its 80's inspired horror mystery. But now the actors themselves are terrified while working for "Stranger Things Season 2."
David Harbour who plays the police chief Jim Hopper that investigated the disappearance of Will Byrne, explains how the cast is terrified but for a different season. According to the actor, the whole crew feels the pressure of making "Stranger Things Season 2" better than the first season and are scared of failing the expectations of their fans.
Fortunately, the actor believes that fans will be pleased with how "Stranger Things Season 2" will turn out according to an interview with TV Guide. Harbour explain his reaction upon reading the script for the first episode of "Stranger Things Season 2."
The actor was genuinely pleased with the script and was exclaiming "Yes! Yes!" within five minutes of reading the script. He feels that if the actors perform well in their roles, "Stranger Things Season 2" will be exceptional.
As for the character Jim Hopper, Harbour says the the police chief will have a different journey on "Stranger Things Season 2." A lot of things have happened in the usually quiet town of Hawkins which in turn has affected the townspeople including Jim Hopper.
Harbour explains that Jim Hopper is a changed man on "Stranger Things Season 2." In the first season, the officer was a jerk who would occasionally rise to the occasion. For "Stranger Things Season 2", the officer will have to deal with the repercussions of his actions in the past season.
The actor wouldn't give any specific details on how Jim Hopper will change in "Stranger Things Season 2." He did however, promised that Jim Hopper's arc will be rich and compelling.
Meanwhile, the villainous Dr. Martin Brenner may return on "Stranger Things Season 2" as reported by Yahoo TV. Matthew Modine, the actor that plays the doctor posted a promotional image for "Stranger Things Season 2" which led some to speculate his impending return.
