Bray Wyatt's WWE Title match opponent is still unknown as Randy Orton refuses to fight Wyatt in WrestleMania 33. Orton's refusal to fight Wyatt has caused a number of speculations as who will face Wyatt in WrestleMania 33, including a John Cena vs Bray Wyatt rematch.

According to WWE, Randy Orton has pledged his allegiance to The New Face of Fear and will not be contending for the WWE belt as long as Bray Wyatt is the champion. This took place after Wyatt successfully defended his belt during the WWE SmackDown Live last Feb. 14.

After the events that occurred during the SmackDown Live, a number of speculations have surfaced as to who will face Wyatt during WrestleMania 33. A possible John Cena vs Bray Wyatt WWE title match was also reported.

Speculations as to who will fight Wyatt on WrestleMania 33 even included a possible triple threat match that will still feature Randy Orton. It is also reported that the storyline going to the event will be Orton betraying Wyatt at the last second to win the belt.

However, these speculations were cut short as a Royal Rumble match has been scheduled to determine who will be the number one contender for the WWE title. According to Skysports, Randy Orton's decision not to fight Wyatt for the WWE belt made management decide to conduct a Royal Rumble match in next week's show.

The upcoming WWE Royal Rumble has been confirmed by an announcement by SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan on Talking Smack, which was reported by wrestlinginc. Whoever emerges as the victor on the upcoming SmackDown Royal Rumble will be the number one contender going into WrestleMania 33.

There has been no announcement yet as to who will be competing during next week's SmackDown Royal Rumble. A John Cena vs Bray Wyatt WWE WrestleMania 33 fight may still be possible if Cena ends up the last man standing during the Royal Rumble match.
