A Bray Wyatt vs John Cena match may actually happen in WrestleMania 33. The possibility of seeing John Cena fighting Wyatt to reclaim the WWE belt has been bolstered by Randy Orton's refusal to fight Wyatt.

Randy Orton is the rightful challenger for the WWE Championship belt that is now currently held by Bray Wyatt. This is because Orton emerged as the winner of the WWE royal rumble match.

However, as the current WWE storyline goes, Orton is reluctant to face Wyatt and has refused to cash in his WWE title challenge that he won at the Royal Rumble. This recent event has opened the doors for a potential John Cena vs Bray Wyatt WrestleMania 33 main event match-up.

It can be remembered that Bray Wyatt won his first WWE belt by defeating John Cena and four other WWE superstars. Wyatt also emerged victorious during the SmackDown Live Tripe Threat Match against Cena and AJ Styles.

It was during the Tuesday SmackDown Live that Orton announced that he will not be fighting Wyatt on WrestleMania 33. However, despite his reluctance, a triple threat match between Wyatt, Orton and a still to be named WWE Superstar may be in the works.

According to CBS Sports, it is more likely that WWE will expand the WrestleMania 33 WWE title match to a triple threat match that will still feature Rand Orton. The third WWE Superstar may just be John Cena.

According to Wrestling Inc, Cena will be on a WWE hiatus after WrestleMania 33 as he is scheduled to film his next movie. As such, even if John Cena is featured during the WWE Title match, his reign will be cut short even if he wins the belt.

However, there are also speculations that John Cena will compete in a mixed tag team match with his girlfriend, Nikki Bella. Cena and Bella will reportedly fight husband and wife tandem, The Miz and Maryse.
