Many fans are anticipating the return of Finn Balor from a shoulder surgery. He has been out since late August 2016 when he was injured in a match with Seth Rollins. Here is the latest update on the possible return date of Balor and it is earlier than WrestleMania 33.

According to Wrestle Zone, the WWE has is already advertising Balor for live events next month. He is being advertised for live events on March 10 in Buffalo, March 11 in Toronto and March 26 in White Plains, New York.

The report also noted that Balor's status for WrestleMania 33 depends on what he's going to do at these live events. If he wrestles at the three live events, he's surely going to have a match at the biggest event of the year.

However, it should be noted that the WWE has not cleared Balor to return to the ring. He was rumored to be entering the Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant but it did not happen as it's not really part of the WWE's plans.

"The Demon" underwent shoulder surgery in late August 2016 after relinquishing the WWE universal title. Doctors ruled him out for four to six months while also finding out that he also suffered more injuries.

In addition to a torn labrum in his right shoulder, he also suffered a torn bicep and pectoral tendon, damages to his cartilage and a fractured glenoid neck socket, as reported by Wrestling Inc. He's still on schedule to make his return this March and a special stem cell treatment helped his recovery.

According to Cageside Seats, Balor is not expected to wrestle at WrestleMania 33 but will appear in some capacity. The WWE have already started finalizing plans for WrestleMania and Balor might not be included in them. However, the company can always change their mind and have him appear at Fastlane.
