WWE News: Baron Corbin to Beat Dean Ambrose, Win Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 33

Baron Corbin is one of the up and coming superstars in the WWE. He has improved his overall skills since being drafted by SmackDown Live last June. The latest WWE rumors have revealed that Corbin is expected to win the Intercontinental championship from Dean Ambrose at WrestleMania 33.

Corbin was signed by the WWE in 2012 and he spent more than three years at NXT. He made his main roster debut at WrestleMania 32 and won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He went on to feud with Dolph Ziggler until he was drafted to SmackDown.

The 32-year-old superstar would continue to improve and he was inserted into the main event scene in late 2016. He also had a strong showing at the Royal Rumble before he got eliminated by The Undertaker.

According to Cageside Seats, the WWE has big plans for "The Lone Wolf" in 2017 and it starts at WrestleMania 33. He is expected to face Ambrose and win the Intercontinental championship at the biggest event of the year.

It will be his first title in the WWE and it is going to help the WWE gauge his ability to carry a championship. Winning the Intercontinental title is a big deal since it's the platform to many legends that went on to become world champions.

Corbin has the look and size of the main event talent. He is also agile for his size and he can produce a good match. However, he still has to develop his microphone skills to become the total package and a dependable main eventer for the WWE.

It should be noted the WWE has not officially made Dean Ambrose vs. Baron Corbin for the Intercontinental championship at WrestleMania 33. But all the signs are pointing to their match with Corbin attacking Ambrose this week on SmackDown, per WWE.com.

The feud between these two superstars has a lot potential because of their unique qualities. Ambrose is the craziest character in the WWE at the moment while Corbin is a powerhouse that beats everyone in his path.
