The Monday Night Raw episode after WrestleMania is one of the most anticipated shows of the year since many debuts and return happen. The latest WWE rumors imply that Shinsuke Nakamura could make his main roster debut that night but will it happen?

According to Brandon Gnetz of Comic Book, Nakamura is one of the rumored superstars who will make an appearance at the post-WrestleMania 33 Raw. He did not make his debut at the Royal Rumble so he is now expected to debut after WrestleMania.

All the signs point to "The King of Strong Styles" making his main roster debut this year since he already lost the NXT championship against Bobby Roode at NXT TakeOver: San Antonio. He will surely get a rematch at NXT TakeOver: Orlando in what would be his final match at developmental.

However, should Nakamura be assigned to Raw and not SmackDown Live? The Monday Night show has been very disappointing with only a handful of great episodes since the WWE Draft. On the other hand, the blue brand is very consistent and they constantly put together great matches.

SmackDown Live also tell great stories in and outside the ring. Unlike the repetitive Raw, the storylines on Tuesday nights progress and fans have no complaints about the show. Nakamura is a better fit on SmackDown rather on Raw.

But the only problem with giving Nakamura a debut on SmackDown is that the crowd will not be as big compared to Raw. The post-WrestleMania Raw still have the majority of the fans from the previous night's show they would be loud.

According to Sportskeeda, there is a big chance that Nakamura will get lost in the shuffle if he gets assigned to Raw. The red brand is stacked with superstars and their writers don't know how to handle the roster.

With the WWE Draft rumored to be earlier this year, it might be the better show for which Nakamura makes his debut as a draft pick for SmackDown. The WWE can have Finn Balor and Kurt Angle's return on Raw instead.

Nevertheless, these are just WWE rumors at the moment and should be taken with a grain of salt. The WWE can always change their mind at the last minute to swerve their fans.
